rofessional setting, she was already styling hair and teaching herself the art of nail extensions in high school — a natural talent that was impossible to ignore.
At 27, she made it official by enrolling in cosmetology school, and what followed has been an extraordinary journey spanning over 27 years as a licensed cosmetologist and more than 25
years as an educator. As a Master Stylist, she has built her reputation on precision haircutting, expert styling, and a deep specialty in texture and color services. Her well-rounded expertisealso extends to makeup artistry and a broad knowledge of color theory.
For over 21 years, she has called Paul Mitchell Schools home, where she serves as a full-time cosmetology instructor — shaping the next generation of beauty professionals with the same
d
edication and hands-on passion that launched her own career. Before transitioning into education, she built her livelihood entirely behind the chair as a full-time stylist, giving her thereal-world expertise that makes her teaching truly exceptional.
She has worked in both roles simultaneously. Tara is dedicated and committed to her craft as a season stylist and educator.
